This tanker ran a ground outside of Prince Rupert Harbour while munuevouring from the terminal to an ancorage. It even had a local piolet onboard, the main Enbridge safety recommendation for Oil Tankers on the West Coast.I do realize that accidents happen but the kicker is when the official explains how 3 and 4 accidents are inevidable when you have thoushands of movements everyday. This means that if Enbridge is successful this will introduce several thousand movements every years in the channel to Kitamat. It is safe to to that we should exect a 8 to 12 accidents each year.
